Andreas Arlt, Jahrgang 1967, Mitbegründer und Gitarrist von B.B. & The Blues Shacks, einer international renommierten europäischen Blues- und Rootsband.
Seine Lieblingsgitarre: eine Gibson ES 335. Sein Lieblingsverstärker: ein Fender Vibrolux.

Mit seiner 1989 gegründeten Band und den aktuellen Kollegen Michael Arlt (Harmonica, Gesang), Dennis Koeckstadt (Piano, Keyboards), Henning Hauerken (Kontrabass, Bassgitarre) sowie Bernhard Egger (Schlagzeug) spielt er jedes Jahr mehr als 100 Konzerte in Europa. 2011 folgten erste Festivalauftritte in Australien und auf der arabischen Halbinsel sowie die erneute Einladung zu einem der bedeutendsten Festivals in den U.S.A., dem Doheny Blues Festival.

Im September 2011 erscheint Andreas Arlts erstes Soloprojekt auf CrossCut.
