Andreas Arlt is a German guitar player, born in 1967. Along with his brother Michael, he founded B.B. & The Blues Shacks, one of the most respected European blues and roots combos. His favorite guitar is a Gibson ES 335. His favorite amplifier is a Fender Vibrolux.

B.B. & The Blues Shacks – current line-up: Andreas Arlt (guitar), Michael Arlt (harmonica, vocals), Dennis Koeckstadt (piano, keyboards), Henning Hauerken (upright & electric bass), Bernhard Egger (drums) – are playing more than one hundred shows per year, in Europe. In 2011 they also performed at renown festivals in Australia and on the Arabian peninsula. In May 2011 they returned to the famous Doheny Blues Festival in Southern California, “back by popular demand”.

Andreas Arlt will release his first solo project on CrossCut Records in September 2011.
