A CCR Productions Recording

Recorded in Northern and Southern California, in the year 2001.

Moving from Minneapolis to the mild temperatures of the West Coast made RJ feel better, more comfortable.
This new feeling is reflected in his music.
Both, as a harp player and singer, RJ has grown during the past years.
Also, the music scene in Calfornia is alive and well.
RJ can pick accompanying players from a huge list of great musicians.
'Meet Me On The Coast' is also meeting Jeremy Johnson again, RJs guitar player from the old days in Minneapolis.

RJ's style is traditional.
He loves the old masters, but he's a talented song writer, too.
If you are into fine and soulful harmonica, played with a nice tone, you'll dig this one.

RJ Mischo in superlative form, his fusion of West Coast and classic Chicago blues now fully developed (…). RJ is in great shape from throughout this set, his songwriting is imperious, and the fact that Junior Watson also adds his unique talents to four cuts just adds the icing to an already irresistible cake.
