Great, powerful album. Maybe too heavy for blues purists ... this is rock'n'roll in it's pure form, loud and rocking. Stevie Ray Vaughan's elder brother is playing lead and rhythm guitar.
Bill Carter, along with his partner Ruth Ellsworth, is best-known for writing modern classics like "Willy The Wimp" (for Stevie Ray Vaughan ), or "Why Get Up" (for the Fabulous Thunderbirds ).
The list of successful resident writers includes 1987-1988 Austin Chronicle Music Award winner Bill Carter, who was named Best Songwriter.
